Changes at Salon 3|5

We are beyond excited to get back to our passion and beautify again. We have been not-so-patiently waiting for the day to reopen and it is finally here! With that being said, we have had to revise our policies to accommodate to our new normal. Below you will find a list of those new guidelines.

• Use hand sanitizer or excuse yourself to the bathroom to wash hands upon entering the salon.
• Minimize your belongings brought into the salon. We ask that you only bring what you need.
• No refreshments or food in the salon. We also will not be offering refreshments at this time.
• Please do not come early to your appointment. If you would prefer, you can wait in your car & call the salon right before your appointment to see if it is clear to come in. This is an effort to reduce the amount of people in the salon at one time.
• Employees will be wearing face masks.
• If you have travelled, please wait 14 days before coming into the salon.
• If you have a fever (anything above 98.6), sore throat, cough, or extreme exhaustion PLEASE do not come into the salon until you are feeling 100% your normal self again.
• Allow flexibility (up to 15 mins max.) with your appointment start time as we HAVE TO properly disinfect all surfaces and tools used between every client.
• Keep the physical touching of things and surfaces around the salon to a minimum.
• If we feel clients have dismissed new guidelines or are showing up obviously unwell, we will start to check temps with a digital forehead thermometer at the door. Anyone with an elevated temp will be rescheduled for a later date & asked to leave.
• No extra persons are allowed at appointments. If 2 people each have appointments & come together that is okay but we ask that no children or persons who are NOT scheduled for services be present in the salon.

We will be raising haircut prices $5.00 during this time (Chloé’s cuts-$35, Maddy’s cuts-$40. Ryan’s cuts-$50). This decision was made with careful consideration for the fact that we have to allow 10-15 minutes in between every client to disinfect. We also have added product cost for more disinfectants, hand sanitizers, face masks, etc to make sure we are following CDC regulations and ND cosmetology laws. As the common phrase goes within our industry “Time is money” and unfortunately time spent disinfecting is lost time. We also will fully follow through with our color application charges. Extra bowls mixed of color are an added $10-20 depending on amount of product remixed. This is not a new policy. Color pricing is a starting at quote, not a fixed price.
